Lead Risk Assessment

Our team performs a

visual examination of the facility, residential dwelling or a child-occupied facility to determine the existence of deteriorated lead-based paint or other potential sources of lead-based paint hazards.

Our experience team specialize in accurately identify lead hazards in accordance with methods and regulations established by the state, HUD, Osha, or tribal program authorized by the EPA.  This process is critical to ensuring the health and safety of those living or working in buildings that might contain lead hazards.

Lead Abatement

Lead Risk Assessment

Lead Abatement

Our teams' goal is to permanent eliminate the risks associated with lead exposure. By addressing lead hazards in residential, commercial, and public spaces. Lead remediation safeguards the health of the occupants, especially vulnerable groups like children and pregnant women, but also ensures compliance with regulatory standards. The process involves multiple strategies, such as:

  1. Lead Abatement: Physically removing lead-based paint and contaminated materials from a property.
  2. Encapsulation: Sealing lead paint under a specialized, durable coating to prevent exposure.
  3. Enclosure: Using a physical barrier, such as drywall or paneling, to cover lead-painted surfaces.
  4. Soil Remediation: Addressing lead-contaminated soil through techniques like soil replacement, stabilization, or capping.
  5. Dust and Water Remediation: Cleaning and treating dust and water sources to reduce lead contamination.

Lead Clearance

Renovation, Repair, and Paint (RRP)

Lead Abatement

A detail visual examination of the property after the abatement activities are finished. To ensure that the abatement has been successfully completed and that no lead-based paint hazards or visible dust or debris remain.

This inspection checks if:

  • All areas affected by the abatement have been properly cleaned.
  • Lead-containing dust, chips, or paint residue has been removed.
  • Surfaces and areas that were treated are intact and not posing further risk.

If the property passes the visual inspection, additional clearance testing, such as dust wipe samples, may be conducted to confirm that lead levels are below hazardous thresholds. Successful completion of both the visual and clearance tests indicates that the home or facility is now safe from lead hazards. This step is especially important in child-occupied facilities, where exposure to lead can cause serious health issues.
